I have Time dimension with multiple hierarchies ( Calendar & Financial). I want to create a calculated members which will give YTD sales. Now I want to write MDX in such a way that it will work with both Time hierarchies. Is it possible to do in AS2000 or I will have to write two calculated members one for each hierarchy.

I haven't tried this myself but there is a .hierarchy function and I would imagine you could use it to test in which hierarchy of time the current member is (using IIF) and then return a value using the formula for that hierarchy
Just a thought - didn't have time to try it out myself

In AS2k I found myself writing 2 separate MDX expressions for doing this - I even had 2 separate cubes for this purpose. I found this easier for me and for business users. I had a number of calculated members in each hierarchy and users sometimes mixed up these. With two separate cubes this is prevented...
