Multicore processors and SQL 2005

    Here is an easy one for you I'm sure but I can't seem to find the answer. I've read that SQL 2005 Standard Edition supports up to 4 cpu and that with Enterprise there is no limit. Does it include multicore or not? In other words, if I have a machine with 4 cpu that are dual core do I install Standard Edition or do I install Enterprise because 4 dual cores make a total of 8 cpu?

    Count physical processors, not the number of cores in each physical processor.
