I am currently handling 3 sql servers. Test, Development and Production. Recently I transferred a Database from production to Test using DTS. Database itself was a play database. I use the copy all data and objects option. It also transferred some of the jobs I had on production server in the database. Now on the test server when I try to delete the jobs it tells me
"Cannot delete, update, insert any jobs originated from MSX server"
So I went and deleted the jobs from production and refreshed the database and server. On test server it still would not let me delete the jobs.
Here is the funny thing. Jobs were part of the database maintenance plans. Test server would let me delete the plans but not the jobs.
So million $$ question is how to delete these jobs?
Any suugesstion will be very much appreciated.

maybe edit the jobs and set 'target' to the local (test) server.
Then delete the jobs.
