I have a MSSQLSERVER service currently running as a Local System Account. I want to change it to run as a domain account. It is a live production server. What steps do I need to follow to do that?

Use the Enterprise Manager app to make the change to be sure that the correct permissions are assigned. Select the server, right click and choose properties. The security tab has the account stuff at the bottom.
do not use the Control Panel as you might not get the right permissions.

Thanks a ton! I was going to use control panel but now I won't.
Do I need to stop the service, change the account and restart it or I can just change the account on live system?
