msg 913 could not find DB id 7

    I dropped accidentally a DB and restored it from last nights backup.

    Now getting a job failure that has this msg. Any ideas?

    Msg 913, Sev 16: Could not find database ID 7. Database may not be activated yet or may be in transition. [SQLSTATE 42000]

    Then restoring a dropped database, it can get a different ID. Looks like the job definition somehow contains the old database ID. Check the steps in the job for any references to dbid.

    We had this issue some time back. It looks the dbid was not released when database was dropped. Bounce of SQL Service fixed our issue.
