We upgraded SQL server 7.0 SP2 to Sql server 7.0 SP4 this morning. The upgrade whent fine except we could not get the cluster services to cluster using the cluster wizard. After a call to microsoft, the cluster wizard was able to continue, everything looked fine.
Later on, we discovered that our transactional replication had quit replicating and instead is displaying the message in the subject of this post. My configuration is as follows, and has worked well for two years now:
Primary server (Publisher/distributor) compaq cl380 win2k SQL7.0 SP4 (Now, was sp2)
Replication server compaq proliant 8000 win2k SP2 SQL2000 SP2.
So far we have unisntalled and installed MSDTC according to KB article Q294209 to no avail. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
