Hi Experts,
I tried to create MSDTC , we have prestaged the VCO which is in disabled state but when i enter the name its giving message 'name' already in use in Active Directory.
What might be the issue?
TIA

TIA,
Have you done the two things required for prestaging the VCO?
1. Set the option for Protect from accidental deletion on the VCO properties
2. Grant the Cluster Name Object (CNO) full rights to the VCO object
Here are the instructions for prestaging the VCO (at the very bottom)
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn466519.aspx
You could also grant the CNO rights to create objects in the OU where it resides and not have to prestige the VCO.
Hope that helps.
