MSDTC configuration

    One of our client required MSDTC to be Configured on windows 2008 r2 ENP edition cluster. He wants to configure that in SQL cluster group (not in separate cluster group).

    I need a suggestion which method is more preferable for configuring MSDTC.

    Do we need to configure MSDTC in separate cluster group? Or Do we need to keep the MSDTC in SQL cluster group?

    For configuring MSDTC in SQL cluster group do we required a 1 GB Separate SAN drive (shared drive)? or can we use the data/log files SAN disk(instead of using a separate 1 GB SAN disk )

    Kindly suggest me .
