2 Questions
First: Anyone know of a reason why I might not be able to connect to MSDE on a dedicated server via the web, with either EM or Query Analyzer. Login is correct, ip address and port are correct, but I get the same message every time "Server does not exist or access denied". Server is definitely started and using the Terminal Services client I can use OSQL to do anything I want. I am quite experienced with SQL Server but not so with MSDE. I understood it was compatible with EM and QA, and I have used them to develop a local MSDE database.
Second: Is there a SQL Server Management/Development tool that runs as a Web Application. Something I could install on my dedicated server where both IIS and SQL Server MSDE is already installed. A web version of EM for example.

Found the answer. My dedicated server is blocking all incoming IP traffic on all ports except the web server using IPSEC
