MSDE 2000 vs. SQL 2005 Express Version and DTS

  Hi,

  Just trying to get clarification that the new 2005 Express version of SQL Server does not support DTS packages?   And only the Standard and Enterprise and Developer edition support the 'Backward' compatible DTS 2000 packages but it is recommended to upgrade to the Integration Services.

  MSDE 2000 supports dts packages, what was the reason by not offering it for 2005 Express version?  Money ?

   

  Where is the SQL Server 2005 Package Migration Wizard in 2005?  I want to try and upgrade some of my 2000 *.dts files?

  There was a really good article on this site within the last ten days on what dts packages will migrate.  You might try starting with that.
