I need to take Full backups of the MSDB database.
I've noticed that when the SQL Server box is restarted the Recovery Model of the MSDB database keeps getting reset back to Simple.
Any ideas on how I can stop this happening would be appreciated.

You can perform full backup to MSDB no matter it is in simple or full recovery mode.

You could place the commands to set msdb into a proc and run the proc at startup automatically.
