I am new to Data Warehouse, I was looking for these ans but didnt get it online on the web
Pls help me in this regard, with some examples / websites
What is the size of your datawarehouse ?
How many data marts does it contain ?
What is the size of biggest datamart ?
How many facts and dimensions does the biggest datamart contain?
What is the biggest and smallest size of fact tables ?
What is the biggest and smallest size of dimension tables ?
How many transaction per sec occur in your organisation ?
How often do you run the ETL Package to load the data in fact and dimensions ?
How many rows get loaded in the biggest fact table every time you run the package ?
Do you have slowly changing dimensions ? How often does it changes ?
How frequent do you take log backup to maintain the log size of you database ?
How big do you keep you log file ?
During maintaining your databases log file do you shrink it size ?
How many user does the server need to serve ?

I saw this question over on ask.sqlservercentral.com as well. I don't understand what you're trying to achieve with this information. Most of it is survey type questions, not questions regarding how to set up and maintain datawarehouses or datamarts. For your new knowledge of a datamart, what does it matter how many datamarts I maintain? I'm just confused by where you're trying to go with this information?
