MS SQL 2005 - SSIS - depoly packages to various servers

    Hi All!

    Wonder if you could help me here.

    I have a package with SQL Authentication and it works fine.

    I need to be able to deploy it a few machines (dev, test, prod, etc.)

    Thought about achieving it by putting the connection string into the config file.

    When I try to include Server Name into config file it stops working.

    Has anybody here done a similar thing?

    I am trying to do the same, but struggling, especially since my servers range between 2000 and 2005 SQL.

    Good People!

    I created a small project trying to replicate the problem and send you guys the config file.

    I worked OK (I can include the server name from my connection into the config file).

    I have applied the same changes to the "real" packages and it worked OK.

    I think the trick is to redeploy the package after the config format changed.
