Hello,
I have 2 node cluster on Win 2003 server. Now I need to install sql active/active cluster. But first of all I must install MS DTC.
In all guides I've seen was said that in case of installing MS DTC it's enough to run comclust.exe command from the command promt. When I run it opens cluster administrator window instead of installing MS DTC. Did I miss something? Or maybe in win2003 it must be done in other way?
Thanks for any help in advance

I am not sure about clusters, but usually MS DTC installation in Windows 2003 server avaliable from "Control Panel" -> "Add or Remove Programs" -> "Add/Remove Windows Components" -> "Application Server" -> "Enable network DTC access".

Hi again! Still strugling with clusters?
In one of the Knowledge Base articles I posted in a earlier post from you, it is explained how to configure MSDTC on a Windows 2003 cluster...
Look at kb article 301600.
Also if you have it running and run into problems later; look at kb artikle 294209
Cluster information; very usefull: kb article 278007
MSDTC information on a cluster; http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/cossdk/htm/pgdtc_admin_5hpv.asp?frame=true
And a final very important one; kb article 817064 and 817065
Again, please read and understand what you are going to do. Clustering is not something simple to click and work.

Thank you both for your help and particularly to c70070540 Yes I'd read all these KB which you suggested for me. And I have to say that my cluster works fine now. Simple when I posted this topic I was like in panic , because my boss unawares camed to me and gave me this task a little bit earlier than I expected. But latter I calmed down and did it. I work 3 months as sql DBA and I think that's forgivable as for a newbie.
Thanks again
