came across a strange problem yesterday. we are migrating to windows authentication from SQL authentication and someone complained they can't see 2/3 of the columns in a table on a replicated copy of that database.
i looked and found that all the columns that can't be seen are all user defined data types. tried this with a few other tables in other databases on the same server and same thing. put this person into the local admin group on that server as a test and everything works. ditto for me when i tried to link a table from access.
has anyone come accross this problem before?

found the problem
this was on our new subscriber that we locked down so even domain admins can't get to it. transfered all the data types to it and gave access to them and it worked.
we are going to rereplicate all the publications to use base data types on the subscribers
