I've searched BOL and forums with limited success regarding moving Views with a DTS package. The views get moved alright but as a table with loaded data. Should we want to update the view, it doesn't exist in code.
In SQL 2000 any import of a view would copy it as a view. I can't find a configuration selection in Server Managment Studio although BOL mentions a call for "CopyAllViews" as a boolean.
Is there a way to DTS views without creating the tables?

In SSIS there is a Transfer SQL Server Objects task that will allow you to copy over database objects. In there, you see the option for Copy All Views or pick out the Views collection.
I had to select the Copy Schema option to true to get the views to copy over.

Thanks Chuck. So much to learn, so little time!
