Moving Transaction Log File with Replication

  Hi Guys,

  I have a question.

  We are running out of disk space on our Log drive and we need to move the transaction log file.

  That's easy enough - detach, move, attach.

  However, the database has transactional and merge replication running on it.

  Does anyone know of any issues with attempting this ?

  I am a little nervous as the replication, amongst other things, is to our clustered live environment.

  Any thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.

  Is there any chance you could try this on a test server?

  I too have moved Transaction Logs but not on a Replicated Database, so it would be safer to try on a test server first.
