First of all, I don't know what has happen to our page here. Its allocation is upside down. Well, lets get to the point. Did you just migrate to 2005? Are you trying to move logins because of that?

How to move Sql server 2000 user login and passwords to Sql server 2005 environments

BOL says, "At the destination, the transferred logins are disabled and assigned random passwords. A member of the sysadmin role on the destination server must change the passwords and enable the logins before the logins can be used. "
Is there a way around this? I use mixed authentication and have 1000+ users.
