Guys i was asked this question in an interview so am gonna do the best i can to rephrase it.Here is the question;i was asked how i could move old data in terms of lets say 2 week old data out of a partition that has been created and leave the current data on the partition which would be more than 2 weeks old, i hope i have tried to phrase it the best way, can someone tell me how to do this. Any ideas are welcomed. Thank you

The answer to that depends completely on how the table (if we are talking table partitioning) has been partitioned, what the partitioning key is and where the partition boundaries are.
