I need to move some clearquest/clearcase Databases from a developer Server to a new SQL Cluster. i know it won't be a simple DTS transfer or detach/reattach. anyone got some pointers

I guess the first question is: What database engine is it currently running on?
If it's MS SQL, the move should be as simple as any other database move. Move the database, and point the software at the new location.
If it's DB-2 or Oracle or some such, then it's much more complex.
If it's SQL Server, and the software won't let you pick your database location, you'll have to talk to IBM about this.

okay thanks, i assumed it would be more complicated than that. I am going SQL to SQL cluster. So hopefully the Clearcase people can point to the new destination easily
