Move log files to new drive

    I recently created a new LUN on teh EMC NAS device so I can move my log files onto it. Currently the data and logs reside on the same LUN and I would like to move teh logs to the new LUN. If I try to modify the database properties to change the location of the log files I do not see the new LUN. SQL 2005 is in a active/passive cluster. The new LUN is in the cluster group. What do I need to do to be able to move the log files to the new LUN?

    You might have to add the new disk to the SQL server dependencies using Cluster Admin. Check this KB article:
