There are many monitoring solutions at similar price points that provide so much more information than this tool. I am not sure I understand why this tool is useful- using it for monitoring is equivalent to using excel spreadsheets as a CRM / ERP system.

My word! We have been using SQLCentric in our shop since v.1.2.3, and I must say that the product has only fully matured to that of a world-class monitoring solution. We are on v.2.0 and going to 2.0.1 for the SQL 2005 support.
As a team manager of DBAs (and started as one myself), SQLCentric has always provided excellent features and given us everything we need to now about our sql server infrastructure and reduced our downtime enormously. Now we have our dba's focus more on projects and services, b/c this monitoring solution alerts us anywhere, and let's us drill-down precisely to where the problem may be from anywhere in our company via IE browser.
We we a small shop and this system was exactly what we needed at the right price! Especially with its sql log monitoring feature, we can monitor almost any sql event taking place. We have even created custom errors that are traced by SQLCentric.
The customer service has always been amazing, and we like the product b/c we didn't have to install any agents, or anything else on our servers.
It won an award, so I'm not alone here in saying its a great product! (sounds like sour grapes for Omri)

!!! No sour grapes The point I was trying to make is that there may be other tools that may better serve the purpose. Would have been nice to know what makes this tool unique and what advantages it has in comparison to others. Also, I would bet that the features listed here are not the key features in this tool, therefore an in-depth overview would have been more educational.If it has been working well for you- THAT'S SUPER!
