Installing SQL 2005 on a test server today, and I can't see where to set the location for the system databases. SQL put them all on C. I thought I could redirect to another drive location during the install, or do I have to move them after the fact ?

Within the installation you have to do the Custom selection (can not think of the exact screen on install but essentially you have the option to accept defaults or do custom install) and when you do it gives you the option to select where you want to installation directory and system databases to be located.
You can certainly do them after the fact as well but it is much simpler to do this on installation, IMO.

Yes, there was an "Advanced" tab, with an option to change the path, but I must have done something wrong because it had no effect at the end.
