Hi,
While installing SQL Server 2005 we chose per-processor license.
Now I would like to reduce the number of CPUs licensed. Is it possible to do this in SQL Server 2005 without doing a re-install?
I know how to do this in SQL Server 2000 but couldn't find any method for SQL Server 2005.
Pls advise.
Regards,
RSingh

This article in the link says how to add the key and does not describe on how to modify the already set up licensing. I am interested in knowing how to modify licensing as what we did with sql 2000 in control panel sql licensing applet.
