I can start Management studio from the command prompt using "SQLWB".
But a friend of mine can't? is there another command to open MMS from the command prompt?
something like mms.exe or something?
Thanks

Hi Chris,
To execute sqlwb you should have access to sqlwb.exe file i.e. the tools must be in the system’s path variable! My local computer has sqlwb file in folder : C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE
Click on Start >> click on run >> type in following command to launch SQL Server Management Studio :
“C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\sqlwb.exe”
