hi
does anyone know how to mix empty and non-empty dimensions in SSRS? both are on my rows
i assume it's possible in SSMS, but i don't know whether the MDX editor in SSRS will allow it???

Anything you can do in SSMS you can do in the MDX Designer in SSRS. Take a look at the posting here and you will see you can go into the Design Mode of the MDX to modify it Using Reporting Services (SSRS) with SSAS data.
If that does not work for you there is always the option to use the OLEDB provide for SSAS instead of using the Microsoft Analysis Services provider.
If you are still uncertain as to how to do this post more information as to what you are trying to do exactly.

hmmm not sure you can use column headers into the MDX builder in SSRS...
but no matter, i solved it by getting rid of "NON EMPTY" and then doing a filter on the dimensions
thanks anyways
