    --Jeff Moden

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

Mishi Kobe Niku, what is it?

And all I could think of (all the while knowing it was wrong) was Star Trek, Capt. Kirk, and the no-win simulation he cheated on....

Ah, but I disagree that he cheated. The test was designed to force you to fail - nobody could pass and thus the test cheated. If we was successful, then it shows that he could think outside the beef err box.
