Hi
My DBA is preparing the failover environment for production environment
The DBA does have a question how to handle the ReportServer database, as the reports will need to point to the new environment.
Are the report definitions maintained in the ReportServer database and by mirroring we assure that these are the same ? Or is there an additional action needed, to have the reports point to the right database?

The following is not necessarily a complete answer because there is no information on how the failover environment is being setup.
Report definitions, connections, security are all in the ReportServer database. So, part of the answer is yes, the report definitions will make it to the DR server with the ReportServer database.
However, information that is potentially sensitive (e.g. connections) is encrypted. Normally, when moving/copying a ReportServer database, you also need to backup and restore the related encryption key (from the SSRS configuration tool or the RS.exe utility). Additionally, you may need to update the SSRS configuration to point to the failover server.
