Hi there,
My name is Leo, i am a junior DBA in my company. Nice to meet you all in this forum. 🙂
i have a problem with SQL Server mirroring in SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 CU4 version. I full backup my database last night and this morning, the mirroring is suspended.
i have tried to resume mirroring but, i got this error in my secondary server :
Database mirroring will be suspended. Server instance 'A000S-DRPSSDB2' encountered error 9004, state 1, severity 25 when it was acting as a mirroring partner for database 'PSS4WMASTER'. The database mirroring partners might try to recover automatically from the error and resume the mirroring session. For more information, view the error log for additional error messages.
is it any related with full backup that i did last night ? or any possibility root cause for my problem ?
Thank you very much for your help...
warm regards,
Leo

Did you check the error log for additional error messages? If so, what are they?

Hi Leo,
Backup is not a problem, please cross check the logs on both servers you will get the result....

Backup of the principal database is allowed,so backup should not be the problem. You need to check windows event log and sql server errorlog and see anymore error is logged.
