  Hi Friends,

  Please some guidance,

  To import a bacpac file in a MI instance, I have an owner role in Azure but the option to import such file does not appear, Should I request a SQL Server Managed Instance Contributor role instead of only owner ???

  IIRC you can only import BACPACs to a Managed Instance via SSMS.

  You cannot do this via the portal for MI.

  So you will need sysadmin / serveradmin etc permissions at the instance level and import via ssms/sqlpackage.exe
