Hi,
I want to migrate databases from our sql server 2005 to sql server 2008. Please let me know procedure steps by step and pre-checklist for migrating as i have not much knowledge of this.

Backup and Restore method
Attach/Detach
SSIS
Scripting
Easiest method is Backup and Restore to 2008, change the compatibility level and fix the logins.

Just do Import/Export when you're in SSMS
You can save them as .dtsx as well
