  Hi,

  I'm planning to migrate the SQL Server 2005 database to 2008 by backup and restore. If i do this is there is any problem with the existing functionality (sp,views..etc., any T-sql logic problem ).

  is there any better way to migrate?

  no it is a good way to do it. Make sure you update the compatibility level to 10 after the restore.

  To make sure you will not have a problem run the SQL server 2008 upgrade advisor
