Hi,
This week we will start migrating from SQL2008-R2 to SQL2012. Are they are known issues to consider? Or is it just a matter of restoring the databses from a backup and continue?
Thanks,

Make sure to run it through SQL Server 2012 upgrade advisor to make sure there are no hidden surprises. Also you might want to do depreciated feature analysis in SQL Server profiler to make sure functionality has not been discontinued in SQL 2012.
If you do not have these issues, backup and restore databases.
