  Does anyone know if there is any documentation on it anywhere?

  I can't find anything at all on the internet.

  Forexample,I am seeing this table there in AdventureWorksDW2016_EXT-  called 'FactResellerSalesXL_PageCompressed'. Why is it called that way? how is it 'compressed? ..

  A wild guess on 'FactResellerSalesXL_PageCompressed' would be: This table is compressed with page compression to show the effects on storage / load.
