Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Evaluation Edition ???

  • HI All,

    I installed Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Evaluation Edition trail version in my computer. i am organizing a small environment.

    Now my employees want to connect my machine for SQL server as client and server architecture .My questions are?

    1>With the Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Evaluation Edition we can do client and server connections.[My machine is server and my employees will connect to SQl server]

    2> how many instances we can create in the same machine by using Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Evaluation Edition

    3> what is max size of the database in Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Evaluation Edition?

    4> how many databases we can create in Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Evaluation Edition ??

  • Note that evaluation edition expires after 180 days. If you're going to develop something for the business, but an appropriate SQL license.

  • Also, make sure you aren't using it for production work. If you are going to do development, I'd purchase the Developer Edition for each developer.
