Dear All,
Can some one suggest me the latest cumulative update for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (RTM) - Enterprise Evaluation Edition?
Select @@Version
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (RTM) - 10.50.1600.1 (Intel X86) Apr 2 2010 15:53:02 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Evaluation Edition on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1) (WOW64) (Hypervisor)
ERROR:
Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {AA40D1D6-CAEF-4A56-B9BB-D0D3DC976BA2} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: c001f011. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS)
Solution:
The fix for this issue was first released in Cumulative Update 3. For more information about how to obtain this cumulative update package for SQL Server 2008 R2

1. is SP1(http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26727) applicable for this edition Enterprise Evaluation?
2.If it's not, Can I apply CU 8 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2534352/ for this edition Enterprise Evaluation?
Thanks and Regards,
Ravi.

Yes, SP1 is applicable for Enterprise Evaluation edition as well.

If you see a need to go to CU8 for RTM, that would match R2 SP1 + CU1 for SP1.
I would prefer to just go to SP1 at this time.
