If I already have SQL Server 2005 Express installed and now want to take advantage of Reporting Services by downloading and installing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services, do I have to uninstall the original SQL Server 2005 Express installation?
Or will running the Advanced Services install take the original installation into account?
Thank you.

In 2005 the short answer is yes you have to remove the standard Express to install the advanced services. I don't know if it changed in 2008 because the Express product in 2008 comes with some changes.
