Microsoft Operations Manager

    I'm about to implement monitoring of SQL Servers with MOM.  I've used Patrol and NetIQ in the past, but this will be my first MOM site.  I would appreciate any words of wisdom from those of you with MOM experience.  Specifically, any buggy behavior you've noticed in SQL Server monitoring or any performance counters you specifically recommend.

    We experimented with it and found it added a bit of a load to our systems but never got around to playing with the options to see if we could tweak. Server where MOM was installed was needed for another project. It also uses a local service app gadget (installed on the monitored server) for some of it's work.
