I get the following error when attempting to export data from a table to a text file...it is inconsistent in that it doesn't happen on every table that I try to export, nor does it happen on every sql server.
I get the error when I click on the destination tab of the workflow object and choose 'execute' to populate the destination layout. The window for the layout returns as blank and when I click 'Define Columns' this error pops up and kicks me out of Enterprise Manager. Any ideas? thanks!

Can you tell us exactly what the error is? Are you using a data source that is not SQL server, and if so are the Servers all using the same MDAC, and/or ODBC drivers and whatnot? I used to have problems when I was using DTS with a PostgreSQL database, as soon as I updated the driver to use the same one my issues went away.

Data Source is SQL Server.
The screen print in the first post is the error that pops up. When I click the 'More info' link I get this error:

Yes that's the problem, I can't see the screen print becazuse it's still pointing at your H:\(right click veiw source and I think you'll find your local path). To include it you'll have to host it somewhere on a public webserver that we can all reach for it to be seen. You could use for example villagephotos.com or imageshack.us. I've seen both used here before. I believe both have free trials. Alternatively you can usualy take a screen shot and paste it into something like notepad and it will paste the text but not the images and then it is easy to include.
Thanks.
Luke.

I had the same problem. Today I found, what appears to be, a patch on the Microsoft web site (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/905417). I am not sure what this did, but the DTS editor appears to be more stable. I am running SQL 2K SP3.
