Hi,
I am new to sql server. Planning to get the MCDBA certification.
Can anybody guide me to know more about the prerequisite exams which I need to write to acquire MCDBA certification?

The MCDBA certification was retired 2 or 3 years ago, it was a SQL 2000 certification.
For the 2005 and 2008 certifications, see http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-sql-server.aspx

Two posts... Almost same content... But two different posters so can’t mark it duplicate.
For your help, providing cross references. It will help you both.

To be brutally honest, if you havent done the research into certifications and discoverd MCDBA certs were retired yourself I would question whether I'd hire you.
Admittedly Microsoft still have an MCDBA page online which IMO should be removed, but with a bit of research you can find the answers rather than me putting 5 minutes of my own time into writing a reply.
