The topic of testing, especially by users, has been a pain point for me for many years. I've worked in the corporate environment, so I've not had thousands or more of users. However, I have had hundreds, perhaps even up to a thousand users that I write apps for. The teams I've been on have written many test apps and test versions of existing apps, over the years. We're give the users a chance to test them. In all those years, no one has ever tested our apps. They would stubbornly continue using whatever they had before, until we took it away from them. It's never been a pleasant experience.
I'm wondering if other corporate developers have had similar experiences to my own? Or if you've had better experiences, please tell me how you did it.
