I have a merge replication running on SQL2000. The users can insert and update the data. This seems to be working properly. My publisher is seeded as odd numbers and my subscriber even.
My question is when I look at the stats on the merge. It tells me I have 50 inserts, 2 updates and 6 deletes. Are the deletes part of the replication housecleaning or do I have 6 records that were deleted by the replication?

It could be both. Run profiler to find out.
