Anyone; please help.
My merge replication has failed on our Windows 2003 servers. Server A (Publisher and distributor) says it cannot find the owner of the process (ME, dbo, sa, everything) in the Win/NT user authentication. Sounds like a network issue, but my Net Admin is less than optimal. He can't figure it out either.
I have tried dropping the distrubution table, but it says it is being used and cannot be dropped. I have deleted the Replication transactions and recreated it, reinitialized the Push Subscription, and even tried removing the Publication ability of the server, all to no avail.
Can anyone see what I am missing? (Besides a competent Network Admin )

This is the error on the "Replications Agents checkup" process:
The job failed. Unable to determine if the owner (ME) of job Replication agents checkup has server access (reason: Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'Domain\MyLogin'. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 8198)).
Sounds like a network error, right?
