Hello,
I configure merge replication with push subscriber between two SQL Server 2000. Very simple, just replicate pubs db.
All looks ok, Snapshot Agent ran, than i start Merge Agent for first syncronization. On subscriber i create new empty db for replication. Merge Agent runs, inserts data in new db, but than fails. In history i can see that it connected, inserted data on subscriber, applied scripts, but after some script error message
The subscription to publication 'pubs' is invalid.
(Source: Merge Replication Provider (Agent); Error number: -2147201019)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The remote server is not defined as a subscription server.
(Source: MSADLSDB010 (Data source); Error number: 14010)
But data are transfered on subscriber. What can be a reason?

Hi :
I had the same errors as well - among many others.
There are a couple of possible reasons for this - Check that user account on both the subscriber and puvblisher have 'SA' rights. And own the database's in question.
The other reason, and pls correct me if this is incorrect : I have the same User ID and Password on both the Publisher and Subscriber.
Let me know if you have any other questions or if this helps 🙂
Bianca
