  Hi ,

  I am getting a Memory related warning twice a day in log. I have enbaled all the things in my server. Attaching the server info. Please help me to find the solutions for this warning.

  Physical ram – 4.5gb

  SQL mem – 3gb fixed mem.

  SQL ver – 8.00.2040

  Os config – Win 2000 STD edition (SP4) with Intel xeon

  AWE enabled with /3gb and /Pae switch.

  Moosa,

  I had something similar to this..you cannot enable the AWE memory if

  1. You have under 4GB of memory on the server

  2. You have a non-Enterprise edition of Windows Server

  Enterprise edition of Window allows for the AWE option.

  Hi,

  In SQL 2000 Standard Edition, SQL Server uses a max of 2G.
