Hi all :
I am facing the memory problem with the below scenario :
I have 3 server , server a, server b and server c
server a = Windows Server 2000 32 bit SP 4 , SQL SERVER 2000 32 bit SP 3 , Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.40GHz, 8171MB Memory
server b = Windows Server 2003 SP1 64 bit , SQL SERVER 2005 sp1 64 bit, AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 252, 4951 MB memory
server c = Windows Server 2000 32 bit sp4 , SQL SERVER 2000 32 bit SP 3
**
server a have link server to server b
server a replicated data to server c
server a is clustered with server c
after the script Instcat.sql is been running in server a , i able to query to server b , but i have getting the mssql error -17803, severity state2 from server a frequently , which is a memory problem . but both of the sql server seem to have enough memory , i have allocated maximum memory to server a around 6GB and awe is enable. The error does not happen in the specific time or any specific day, do i able to trace back what process have been done ? do i able to trace back in what time the replication have been running, because i would like to trace the sources of the error .
Thank you
Regards :
Weng

Since you're working cross platform, I'd recommend calling Microsoft PSS and having them work with you.
Are there any other errors that are occurring? Is it always in the same types of statements or do they appear in the log?
