Hi All
I understand that SQL Server's plan cache is memory taken from inside the buffer pool (Memory allocated by the Max Memory setting in SQL).
I have seen articles and posts that indicates that the Plan Cache is taken from outside of the buffer pool, is this correct?
Please confirm my understanding.
Thanks

No, the plan cache is part of the buffer pool.
