Hello, I am working on a POC around temporal tables and replacing our datawarehouse type 2 SCDs with them.
I am happy with how they work and am almost convinced they will be beneficial from a development and maintenance point of view.
My question relates to the Memory-Optimized temporal tables and whether they would have any benefit in a datawarehouse scenario.
I know they were developed for use with OLTP systems and so far, I can't see any benefit in using them in a datawarehouse but I wanted to know what other people thought. Have I overlook a use for them here?
Cheers,
Dave

The S in SCD is "slowly" so I don't see much benefit either. Also, afaik this feature is not available in SQL DW.
