MDX EMBEDDED IN TRANSACT SQL

    Can you Embedd MDX in a SQL Query? To be able to pull a value out of a cube?

    Take a look here on how to use OPENROWSET to query an AS instance.

    Excellent my ozzy friend.  Perfect example. This is exactly what I was looking for.  Global Warming is going to get us.  Hear the drought is pretty bad.  I am in Florida.  Got nailed the season before last.  I am down in Boca Raton we got kicked.  anyway,  Thanks again.
