Mdf integrity

    Hi all,

    Is there any way to check the integrity of .Mdf file before attaching it to a database means to check whether its valid (or) not.

    Use the DBCC CHECKDB command on the database.

    I am not sure if there is any command to check the intergrity / internal structure of the mdf file in SQL Server. If you have only the mdf file, then attach it and then run the DBCC command.
